Our Bio

The Zorbas is a Montreal-based duo brewing an original sound that fuses their Balkan heritage, the warmth of soul grooves and their passion for world music.

Formed during the heart of the COVID-19 pandemic, they turned isolation into inspiration—channeling their experiences into music that uplifts, heals, and celebrates the human spirit. 

Drawing from the multicultural fabric of their lives, their lyrics are in Serbo-Croatian, French, and English, and speak of love, courage, and the quiet strength of vulnerability. 

Now happily married, the duo continues to create everything together—from songwriting and arrangements to animation and video production—making their work a deeply personal reflection of their unified artistic journey. 

Their debut album, Nova Zora, released in 2024, marked a bold first chapter and streamed in over 160 countries—earning praise for its emotional resonance and original sound. They are currently working on their next EP, Bridges, set for release in summer 2025—a project that continues their mission to bring people together through music. 

Whether on stage or in the studio, The Zorbas invite listeners into a world where groove is the engine, love is the foundation, and music is the universal language.
